Additional Comments:

This contract was competitively bid in May 2025, commenced on July 28, 2025, and is currently in its first term.  As the Public Works Department has carried out work under this agreement, it has become evident that certain additional items and services-not included in the original bid solicitation-are necessary to effectively fulfill the contract’s requirements.  The proposed modification adds a provision authorizing the Public Works Department to incorporate additional items and services into the contract when deemed necessary to support timely, efficient, and complete performance of the work. This flexibility ensures the contractor can continue to perform all required tasks proficiently without the need for repeated Council action for each added item or service.
