Additional Comments:

Proposed 10-Acre park, located at MidCity, just east of Research Park Boulevard, south of University, and adjacent to TopGolf. This project is an expansion of the earlier phases of the park, which was installed in 2017. This phase will double the size of the existing pond and include large amounts of open/passive spaces; landscaping; a kayak pond; and walking paths. Additionally, the City has partnered with Arts Huntsville and the National Fitness Campaign to install at fitness court at the park that will include commissioned artwork. This park will provide connectivity from the northern end of the park, south to the Orion Amphitheater. This park will be a key element in the ever-developing MidCity Master Plan which is currently transforming this former mall site into a bustling area filled with new growth and attractions.
